Immediate Vortex, a platform touted as an automatic bitcoin trading solution, has sparked widespread controversy due to varied evaluations and suspicions of fraud.

Immediate Vortex is marketed as a cutting-edge trading platform that uses advanced technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze cryptocurrency markets and automatically execute deals on its users’ behalf. Despite these potential characteristics, the network has not been without criticism and suspicions of fraudulent activity.

Trading with unregulated firms entails a significant risk for investors because there is no guarantee of protection or remedy in the event of disputes or fraud.

The lack of regulation or the presence of poor regulation is a huge red flag. It means Immediate Vortex is a scam and most likely, an illegal operation.

Companies offering investment services or opportunities without having a license can vanish without leaving a trace. Furthermore, the lack of a regulatory license allows them to get away with it and face no legal consequences.

That’s why it’s vital for you to always check a company’s regulation status as well as its license information. The presence of a license allows consumers to reach out to an authority if something goes wrong.

In the case of Immediate Vortex, victims have nowhere to go due to the absence of a watchdog or license.

You should ask yourself the following questions when you come across a new investment firm or opportunity:

    • Does the investment provider maintain transparency about its CEO?
    • Do they have a license from a renowned regulatory authority?
    • If the need arises, can I reach out to an authority to report this company as a scam?

A major problem of Immediate Vortex is the growth of fraudulent websites that imitate the real platform. To entice unwary viewers, these phony sites frequently use deceptive tactics such as manufactured celebrity endorsements and fake news items. According to reports, these fraudulent sites are marketed through misleading adverts on well-known platforms like as Google and X.com, leading victims to feel they are engaging with the actual Immediate Vortex platform.

     Immediate Vortex

Many users describe experiencing high-pressure sales methods, such as repeated calls from alleged account managers pressing them to commit more money. Users frequently complain about the difficulty of withdrawing their monies. Some people report that their original deposits were lost, and further attempts to collect their money were met with resistance.

Some users have reported losing their original investments, frequently owing to what they perceive as incorrect information provided by platform representatives.

Immediate Vortex’s critics also point to a substantial lack of openness about the platform’s founders and operations. Many potential consumers are wary of the organization and its management team because there is no reliable information available. Without clear information on who is behind the platform, trust and credibility are significantly harmed.

Another major concern is Immediate Vortex’s regulatory position. While some evaluations state that the site partners with regulated brokers, others highlight the risks of tradi

However, it’s worth noting that many scammers disable their payment channels before shutting down their operations.

They might give you multiple reasons including:

    • A technical error
    • A glitch in their system
    • Banking issues
    • A “hacking attack”

    And many others.

But in 9/10 cases, the scammers stop making payments and keep the money to themselves. Hence, the payment methods we discussed here might not work.

If you want to get your money back from a scammer, you’d need to file a chargeback.

When it comes to scammers, you should only measure the quality of their customer service if they respond to your complaint.

In the beginning, scammers tend to remain very accessible.

This means their representatives will keep calling you until you invest with them. Furthermore, they will act friendly and make it seem as if you’re one of their most valuable consumers.

However, they do all this just to win your trust.

Scammers understand that to convince someone to give them a large sum, they will need to seem like a friend.

Nevertheless, when you have invested a considerable amount of money and need to get it back, their customer support will become inaccessible.

All of a sudden, their numbers would either stop responding or become unavailable.

Still, they might remain accessible to convince you to invest further. Also, they might begin by making a few excuses regarding your payment.

However, in the end, customer support won’t resolve your issues and become increasingly unavailable.

It’s worth noting that many scammers tend to purchase fake reviews. Buying fake reviews has become extremely easy and it’s a multi-million dollar industry.

Scammers like Immediate Vortex tend to purchase fake reviews for their online profiles to make themselves seem more credible.

    Immediate Vortex reviews on Trustpilot

TIME Magazine investigated the fake review industry and estimated it to be worth more than $150 million. Certainly, there are a ton of scammers who want to seem legitimate and a bunch of fake reviews is the most effective way to do so.

That’s why you shouldn’t trust Immediate Vortex reviews easily.

It’s easy to identify fake reviews as well. You should look out for 5-star reviews posted by temporary accounts (profiles that only posted 1 or 2 reviews on the platform). Also, you should see if the positive reviews share any detailed information about their experience with the firm or not.

In the case of Immediate Vortex, chances are, you wouldn’t find many legitimate reviews.

Another prominent way scammers like Immediate Vortex enhance their credibility is by burying negative reviews and complaints under a lot of fake reviews.

This way, when you’ll look up “Immediate Vortex reviews”, you might not find many complaints. Or, you might find them buried within numerous reviews praising Immediate Vortex.

    Immediate Vortex reviews coverage

You should always look out for consumer complaints. In the case of Immediate Vortex, the most common complaints I found were about:

    • Poor customer support
    • Delays in payments
    • High fees
    • Lack of transparency regarding their leadership team
    • Aggressive sales staff

Immediate Vortex is an unregulated entity. Although they might fall under the jurisdiction of a watchdog, they don’t have the license to offer financial services to consumers.

The lack of a license means they are not answerable to any regulatory authority. As a result, the people behind Immediate Vortex can run away with your money without any prior notice. It would help if you were extremely cautious when dealing with an unregulated service provider.

The absence of a watchdog also means you cannot report to them to anyone.

Also, due to the absence of specific regulations, there is no provision protecting you from the insolvency of this entity. If they go bankrupt, you won’t be able to do anything about it.

    Can You Trust Immediate Vortex?

The Immediate Vortex platform provides a complicated picture that includes both positive and bad characteristics. On the one hand, its features, such as AI-powered market analysis and customisable trading tools, indicate that it may be a useful tool for cryptocurrency traders. On the other side, the numerous unfavorable user experiences and reports of fraud activities, particularly those involving phony websites and aggressive marketing tactics, cannot be disregarded.

Prospective Immediate Vortex users should approach the platform with caution. Before making any investments, undertake comprehensive investigation and verify the integrity of the site. Starting with small investments and examining the platform’s features and withdrawal procedures might also help to reduce risks. Given the conflicting reviews and serious nature of the charges, careful consideration is required to prevent falling victim to potential scams.

All the evidence suggests that Immediate Vortex is a scam. If you have lost money to them, there is still a chance you can get it back.

To recover your funds, you’d need to file a chargeback.

    Launch a website/app with a generic name

A website or app with a generic name allows scammers to hide behind common Google search results. Marketing such names is easier as well.

Pay influencers & social media pages to promote the scheme

By getting influencers and social media pages to promote their brand, scammers make their shady company seem more legit than it actually is.

Send thousands of emails and make cold calls to potential victims

It’s common for scammers to buy the contact details of people and spam them through email, phone calls, social media messages and other means.

Make victims feel safe through “small wins”

Such small wins usually include a few payments transferred into the victim’s account. This makes them seem more legitimate.

Convince victims into investing large sums of money

Due to the small wins, the victim is now convinced that the company is legit. Now, the scammers try to manipulate the victim into giving them larger sums.

Disable withdrawals & take down the website/app

Once the scammers have recieved a signicant sum, they either stop responding or cite a technical error to freeze their victims’ funds.

    Repeat the cycle

After making the money, the scam will shut down and the people running it will launch another and repeat the cycle.

Carnelian12 Review: Scam Or Legit? | Recover Lost Funds

    Summary

Carnelian12 has been identified as a risky opportunity by Intelligence Commissioner users. It is similar to Servetly. We’ve received over 4 complaints against Carnelian12.

Carnelian12 is a notorious Ponzi scheme that duped a large number of people. It lacked openness, gave incorrect information about its ownership and incorporation, and promised unrealistic profits. The scheme failed in June 2023 and was relaunched as C12V2, which continued its fraudulent activities. Regulatory warnings and low trust scores verified the scam’s nature.

Get Your Money Back From These Scammers!

    [mychargeback-form]

There is universal agreement that Carnelian12 is a fraudulent organization, specifically a Ponzi scheme that has duped a huge number of investors. The following is a detailed overview of the scam’s operation as well as the key characteristics that it had.

Carnelian12 did not provide any information that could be confirmed. This provides information about the management team and ownership. It is vital to note that the listed names and companies, such as “Andreas Garcia & Partners,” do not exist outside of Carnelian12’s website. This type of intended obfuscation is a common strategy used by fraudulent businesses to escape accountability and examination.

The company stated that it was founded in Hong Kong under the name “C12 Trading & Services Limited.” Investigations, on the other hand, revealed that this incorporation was merely a facade, with no true commercial activity to back it up. The goal of establishing the appearance of legality with a false incorporation is to gain the trust of potential investors.

The Carnelian12 scheme was a standard Ponzi scheme in that it paid out incentives to prior investors using new investments. The absence of verified business operations, the lack of transparency, and the excessive promises of return on investment all pointed to the business’s fake nature.

Despite the fact that it attempted to appear legitimate by making bogus claims and providing incorporation paperwork, regulatory warnings and low trust rankings from scam detection platforms show that it is genuine. The fact that Carnelian12 eventually went out of business and rebranded as C12V2 demonstrates that the company’s business model is not only unsustainable, but also dishonest.

The lack of regulation or the presence of poor regulation is a huge red flag. It means Carnelian12 is a scam and most likely, an illegal operation.

In the case of Carnelian12, victims have nowhere to go due to the absence of a watchdog or license.

You should ask yourself the following questions when you come across a new investment firm or opportunity:

    • Does the investment provider maintain transparency about its CEO?
    • Do they have a license from a renowned regulatory authority?
    • If the need arises, can I reach out to an authority to report this company as a scam?

Carnelian12 did not supply any real goods or services to its clients. Affiliates were only authorized to market the membership itself, which is symptomatic of a Ponzi scheme. The lack of any actual program products or services is a warning flag that suggests that the plan is solely reliant on the recruitment of new investors to be viable.

Over the course of twelve days, the firm promised a return on investment (ROI) of 144%, which is not only highly unlikely but also difficult to sustain. These large profits are sometimes used to persuade investors to engage in Ponzi schemes. These promises are often too good to be true, and they are made with the goal of generating immediate investment.

Carnelian12 claimed that trading NFTs was profitable for the company. However, there was no independently verifiable evidence to support this allegation. The primary source of revenue was new affiliate investments, which were used to offer returns to investors who had started investing earlier. A Ponzi scheme is defined by the fact that it relies on new investments to pay out earnings to existing investors.

The Central Bank of Russia determined Carnelian12 to be a pyramid scam and issued a warning about the coin. Warnings made by reputable regulatory authorities serve as critical notifications to both prospective and existing investors of the fraudulent nature of such schemes.

However, it’s worth noting that many scammers disable their payment channels before shutting down their operations.

They might give you multiple reasons including:

    • A technical error
    • A glitch in their system
    • Banking issues

    Summary

Servetly has been identified as a risky opportunity by Intelligence Commissioner users. It is similar to Yuan Pay Group. We’ve received over 3 complaints against Servetly.

Online purchasing carries risks, particularly from phoney websites like Servetly.com. Lack of official owner details, no regulatory license, and many consumer complaints about non-delivery and inadequate customer assistance show this website several scam indications. Victims should be careful, ask for chargebacks, and notify pertinent authorities about any frauds. Stay away from Servetly.com to stop financial loss.

It is common for convenience to come with hazards when it comes to online buying, particularly when it comes to websites that are fraudulent. One of these dishonest websites, Servetly.com, has attracted a lot of attention due to the fraudulent activities that it engages in. In this essay, the warning indications that could indicate that Servetly.com is a scam, the operational strategies that are behind it, and the steps that victims can do to protect themselves are discussed.

The website does not provide any legitimate owner or location details; instead, it only provides a questionable email address, which is [email protected]. This further undermines the legitimacy of the website.

Servetly.com attracts customers with bargains that appear to be too good to be true by offering products at prices that are much lower than market rates. This methodology is popular among websites that engage in fraudulent activities.

The website appears to be extremely new and untrustworthy, as seen by the complete absence of customer reviews or comments. This is characteristic of scam operations that have not been operational for a sufficient amount of time to acquire reviews.

A significant number of consumers have stated that they have not received their products after being charged for them. The most common complaints include receiving fraudulent tracking numbers and receiving unhelpful customer care.
The Fraudulent Ways in Which Servetly.com Operates

FADEL-BEATTY LIMITED is in charge of managing a network of fraudulent websites, and Servetly.com is a component of that network. These websites provide the impression of being reputable by using photographs and product descriptions that have been taken from actual firms. Following the completion of the orders and the payment, the con artists will take the money without delivering the merchandise. The customer care department either chooses to ignore the victims or supplies them with phony tracking numbers, which delays the detection of the scam.

    Summary

Yuan Pay Group has been identified as a risky opportunity by Intelligence Commissioner users. It is similar to Spacewong.com. We’ve received over 7 complaints against Yuan Pay Group.

Yuan Pay Group is a bogus cryptocurrency business that claims official backing. In its marketing materials, Yuan Pay Group presents itself as a leading cryptocurrency trading platform that focuses on the digital yuan, which is a cryptocurrency that is supported by the Chinese government. On the other hand, several reports appearing from a variety of sources suggest that Yuan Pay Group is a fraudulent organization.

Yuan Pay Group asserts that it is at the forefront of digital yuan trading and promises to provide investors with profitable returns on their investments. It deploys sophisticated marketing strategies in order to attract investors, presenting itself as a legitimate and lucrative prospect in the process.

There is a lack of regulatory licensing, which is one of the most significant warning signs. On the other hand, Yuan Pay Group does not possess the necessary certifications, such as ISO 27001 and ISO 50001, which are essential for maintaining the confidentiality of data and the safety of financial transactions. Because of this lack of control, it appears that the platform works beyond the confines of legal financial regulations, which raises substantial doubts about the validity of the platform.

Yuan Pay Group has a number of websites that claim to be its official website, but these websites are not genuine. It is highly likely that affiliate networks working with the goal of expanding their reach to potential victims are responsible for this proliferation. Con artists frequently employ the strategy of having many websites for a single business in order to confuse and ensnare investors who are not paying attention to what they are doing.

Using a tried-and-true method, Yuan Pay Group entices potential investors by claiming that they will receive significant profits on a relatively small investment. A further point of contention is that it asserts that it has the support of the Chinese government as well as the Chinese Central Bank. These deceptive assertions are purposefully made in order to generate the appearance of legitimacy and to attract a greater number of victims.

    Yuan Pay Group

It has been discovered that the platform is employing falsified endorsements from public figures and celebrities like celebs. According to the findings of the investigations, these endorsements are completely fabricated and do not have the support of the persons who are supposedly praising the social media site. By engaging in this dishonest behavior, the intention is to gain unwarranted trust among prospective investors.

Before beginning the fraud, individuals must first join on the platform and make an initial deposit, which is often somewhere about $250. Due to the fact that this money is then stolen by unregistered offshore brokers, customers are left without any legal redress.

It has been reported that users who join up with Yuan Pay Group receive aggressive phone calls and emails that put pressure on them to invest another amount of money. The company’s eagerness to take as much money as possible from victims is shown in the fact that the harassment continues even after the platform has expressed indifference in the matter.

Users have complained that the difficulty in withdrawing funds is a serious issue that they are experiencing. The process of retrieving money that has been deposited by users is extremely difficult and practically impossible. In addition to charging high fees for withdrawals, the site frequently prevents users from making withdrawals altogether, thereby securing their funds.

The Yuan Pay Group has received an overwhelming number of bad reviews and warnings on review services such as TrustPilot. These assessments should serve as a stern warning to prospective investors about the dangers that are attached to the situation.

There is a high probability that contacting customer assistance will not be successful. Furthermore, the fraudulent nature of Yuan Pay Group is highlighted by the fact that it does not provide necessary help. Trading platforms that are genuine place a high priority on customer support, whilst fraudulent platforms often ignore this aspect.

Users are subjected to manipulation by the site, which displays fictitious profits in a digital wallet. These fabricated earnings are provided with the intention of luring consumers into investing additional funds. On the other hand, these earnings are completely fictitious, and consumers are unable to withdraw their investments.

It’s worth noting that many scammers tend to purchase fake reviews. Buying fake reviews has become extremely easy and it’s a multi-million dollar industry.

Scammers like Yuan Pay Group tend to purchase fake reviews for their online profiles to make themselves seem more credible.

Yuan Pay Group persistently exerts pressure on its users to increase their financial investments by employing high-pressure sales practices. In order to extort as much money as possible from victims, aggressive marketing strategies and false promises are utilized.

It is a sophisticated fraud that takes advantage of the appeal of big returns and the perceived legitimacy of the Chinese digital yuan and uses it to its advantage. Its identity as a fake organization is made abundantly evident by the absence of regulatory monitoring, the utilization of several phony websites, and the aggressive marketing strategies it employs. It is strongly recommended that prospective investors steer clear of this site and report any fraudulent actions to the authorities that are responsible for the matter.

It is imperative that individuals who have been defrauded by this scheme immediately cease making any more investments and seek assistance from fraud recovery agencies as well as legal authorities in order to retrieve the monies that they have lost.

Spacewong.com is a fraudulent cryptocurrency site using fake celebrity endorsements and deep fake technology to lure users with promises of free cryptocurrency and high investment returns. Spacewong.com has been flagged as a fake cryptocurrency site by several sources. The website fraudulently offers free cryptocurrency giveaways and spectacular investment returns, luring users in with fake celebrity endorsements and other deceptive tactics.

    Spacewong.com Homepage

Spacewong.com appears to be a legitimate cryptocurrency trading platform, but it is actually a cunning scam. The site employs deep fakes and stolen media to create endorsements from well-known figures.

The scam starts with relentless promotions on social media networks like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. These marketing include phony celebrity endorsements, which are created using deep fake technology to produce convincing films and photos.

The commercials say that these celebrities are supporting a new cryptocurrency project called Spacewong, and they offer free Bitcoin prizes and guaranteed rewards to persuade users to sign up.

Victims are directed to the Spacewong website, where they can register and provide personal information. They are also given codes to redeem alleged cryptocurrency presents. To receive these “gifts,” consumers must first make a cryptocurrency deposit. Once the deposit is made, users are unable to withdraw their monies.

After the initial deposit, Spacewong prevents any subsequent efforts to withdraw cash. The platform may request further payments under a variety of pretexts, such as unlocking the account or processing fees. This cycle continues until the scammers decide to vanish, leaving victims unable to retrieve their funds.

The lack of regulation or the presence of poor regulation is a huge red flag. It means Spacewong.com is a scam and most likely, an illegal operation.

In the case of Spacewong.com, victims have nowhere to go due to the absence of a watchdog or license.

You should ask yourself the following questions when you come across a new investment firm or opportunity:

    • Does the investment provider maintain transparency about its CEO?
    • Do they have a license from a renowned regulatory authority?
    • If the need arises, can I reach out to an authority to report this company as a scam?

Spacewong.com operates anonymously, with no publicly available owners, company information, or verifiable proof. Lack of transparency is a prevalent characteristic of scam operations.
    Fake endorsements

Celebrity endorsements are completely created using AI deepfakes and altered media. There is no genuine connection between these public individuals and Spacewong.

The website’s appearance and components are quite similar to those found on previously recognized scam websites. This closeness shows that the same scammers may be operating various fraudulent platforms.
    High-Risk Investment Promises.

Scammers like Xeventy tend to purchase fake reviews for their online profiles to make themselves seem more credible.

TIME Magazine investigated the fake review industry and estimated it to be worth more than $150 million. Certainly, there are a ton of scammers who want to seem legitimate and a bunch of fake reviews is the most effective way to do so.

That’s why you shouldn’t trust Xeventy reviews easily.

It’s easy to identify fake reviews as well. You should look out for 5-star reviews posted by temporary accounts (profiles that only posted 1 or 2 reviews on the platform). Also, you should see if the positive reviews share any detailed information about their experience with the firm or not.

In the case of Xeventy, chances are, you wouldn’t find many legitimate reviews.

Another prominent way scammers like Xeventy enhance their credibility is by burying negative reviews and complaints under a lot of fake reviews.

This way, when you’ll look up “Xeventy reviews”, you might not find many complaints. Or, you might find them buried within numerous reviews praising Xeventy.

You should always look out for consumer complaints. In the case of Xeventy, the most common complaints I found were about:

Xeventy is an unregulated entity. Although they might fall under the jurisdiction of a watchdog, they don’t have the license to offer financial services to consumers.

The lack of a license means they are not answerable to any regulatory authority. As a result, the people behind Xeventy can run away with your money without any prior notice.

    Can You Trust Xeventy?

It is strongly suggested that you do not invest in Xeventy due to the large amount of proof of fraud, the lack of regulation, and the large number of user complaints. There are a lot of signs that the site is a scam, and investing in it could cost you a lot of money.

All the evidence suggests that Xeventy is a scam.

Xedmex Review: Scam Or Legit? | Recover Lost Funds

    Summary

Xedmex has been identified as a risky opportunity by Intelligence Commissioner users. It is similar to Coinfield. We’ve received over 4 complaints against Xedmex.

The Xedmex scam, a fake high-yield investment program, entices investors with promises of quick, substantial gains, but it is unregulated and fails, resulting in significant financial losses. Negative reviews prove its deceptiveness. To avoid such scams, investors should evaluate a company’s openness and license, as well as be wary of unrealistic investment claims.

Get Your Money Back From These Scammers!

    [mychargeback-form]

The Xedmex scam is based on a fake high-yield investment program (HYIP) that has been widely condemned by many sources as possibly deceptive and untrustworthy. This article digs into the complexities of the Xedmex fraud, outlining its nature, warning signs, consumer feedback, and operational specifics.

Xedmex is classified as a high-yield investment program (HYIP), which normally offers extremely high returns on investments in a short period of time. These schemes are known for luring investors with the promise of quick and large gains. HYIPs such as Xedmex frequently promote themselves as rich investment possibilities, but in reality, they are unsustainable and intended to scam naive investors.

The promise of huge profits is a common feature of such schemes, which rarely deliver on their promises and frequently leave participants with substantial financial losses.

The lack of regulation or the presence of poor regulation is a huge red flag. It means Xedmex is a scam and most likely, an illegal operation.

In the case of Xedmex, victims have nowhere to go due to the absence of a watchdog or license.

You should ask yourself the following questions when you come across a new investment firm or opportunity:

    • Does the investment provider maintain transparency about its CEO?
    • Do they have a license from a renowned regulatory authority?
    • If the need arises, can I reach out to an authority to report this company as a scam?

Xedmex launched on October 14, 2023, and provides a 5% referral bonus with a minimum investment of $10 and a minimum payout of $1. These characteristics are typical of HYIP programs, which frequently provide referral bonuses to entice new investors.

The low minimum investment and payout thresholds aim to attract a wide spectrum of investors, including those with modest means. However, because these schemes rely on a constant influx of new investments to pay out profits to previous investors, they are intrinsically unsustainable. As the flow of fresh money decreases, the plan collapses, resulting in severe losses for most participants.

Customer feedback reinforces the bogus nature of Xedmex. Trustpilot evaluations for Xedmex are predominantly negative, with a low rating indicating widespread discontent among users. Many people have reported losing money, which is usual among those involved in HYIP frauds. The unfavorable evaluations represent the experiences of many investors who were duped by misleading promises of large profits. These evaluations alert potential investors about the hazards involved with Xedmex.

CoinField was a Canadian cryptocurrency exchange that began in January 2018. It positioned itself as a secure and user-friendly platform for exchanging multiple cryptocurrencies. Despite its initial promise, the platform has faced several charges of fraud and regulatory noncompliance.

    CoinField OSC warning

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) claimed that CoinField operated without legal registration and failed to follow securities rules. The platform did not have enough crypto assets to meet withdrawal requests, misled investors about the causes for the delays by claiming ongoing audits rather than admitting asset shortages.

Many users experienced substantial delays and outright refusals to execute withdrawal requests. CoinField’s support crew frequently supplied incorrect explanations, citing technical difficulties or withholding periods to hide asset shortages.

CoinField has been accused of participating in a variety of fraudulent actions, including as freezing cash, changing withdrawal restrictions without warning, and offering no customer support. These activities resulted in users being unable to retrieve their payments, with some labeling the situation as a “exit scam”.

The MTFE (Metaverse Foreign Exchange Group Inc.) and MTFE Crypto scam is a sophisticated and widespread Ponzi scheme that has deceived investors in several countries, including Bangladesh, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and Canada.

    MTFE

MTFE promoted itself as a reputable financial services business that trades forex, commodities, indices, stocks, and cryptocurrencies. It promised to use modern technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) to automate trading, promising its consumers high and consistent returns. However, investigations found that MTFE was a fraudulent company with no legitimate trade or regulatory compliance.

MTFE falsely claimed to be regulated by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), which does not oversee forex brokers. It also claimed to be registered in Ontario, Canada, however the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) verified that MTFE was not authorized to trade securities in Ontario.

MTFE was a conventional Ponzi scheme, with previous investors receiving profits from the cash of younger investors. The system was mainly reliant on a referral network, which incentivized users to recruit others with incentives and bigger profits.

MTFE used aggressive recruitment tactics, with “team leaders” promoting the platform to their followers and connections. This network effect aided the scheme’s fast expansion, particularly in nations such as Bangladesh, where it drew millions of investors.

    MTFE OSC warning

The lack of regulation or the presence of poor regulation is a huge red flag. It means MTFE is a scam and most likely, an illegal operation.

In the case of MTFE, victims have nowhere to go due to the absence of a watchdog or license.

You should ask yourself the following questions when you come across a new investment firm or opportunity:

    • Does the investment provider maintain transparency about its CEO?
    • Do they have a license from a renowned regulatory authority?
    • If the need arises, can I reach out to an authority to report this company as a scam?

MTFE claimed to utilize an AI bot for trading, with great accuracy and returns. However, examinations proved that there was no actual AI or trading activity. The app just simulated trades with random number generation, and the gains displayed to users were manufactured.

    MTFE

Users could easily deposit money into the MTFE app, but withdrawing dollars was extremely hard. The site enforced arbitrary verification procedures, fees, and outright denial of withdrawal requests, which is a frequent warning sign in Ponzi schemes. The MTFE pushed users to use bitcoin for deposits and withdrawals, making it more difficult to trace transactions. This additional layer of intricacy enabled the scheme to operate beneath the radar and avoid regulatory attention.

As with many Ponzi schemes, MTFE finally failed. The app stopped working, the website crashed, and the operators vanished with all of the invested monies. As a result, thousands of investors suffered severe financial losses.

The swindle has caused significant financial losses for investors. In Bangladesh alone, it is estimated that MTFE stole at least Tk20,000 crore (about $2 billion) from around 4.2 million people.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Bangladesh has launched inquiries and is gathering information from victims. However, the absence of clear jurisdiction and the use of cryptocurrencies have complicated legal proceedings.

The MTFE fraud has highlighted the need for more public awareness and education about the dangers of investing in unregulated platforms, as well as the value of due diligence. Regulatory organizations are asked to step up their scrutiny and take preventative steps against such fraudulent schemes.

However, it’s worth noting that many scammers disable their payment channels before shutting down their operations.

They might give you multiple reasons including:
